Originating in the Appalachian Mountains back in the early 1900s when people didn't stare at their phones all day. You'll enjoy hours of fun at home or cabin with this classic American game.

Comes with 16 brass peg casings (4 of each color: blue, green, red, gold), 1 six sided dice, 12x12" oak board with beveled edges, and canvas drawstring storage bag to keep your pegs and dice together while transporting or not in use.

Clear coated with semi-gloss finish for wood protection.

The objective of this 2 to 4 player game is to be the first player to move all of your colored pegs from the starting area, around the holed track and into the home base of your same color.

Getting started: Place your ammo pegs in the starting area with the matching color. Each player rolls the dice and the highest number goes first, Play then proceeds to the left. Roll again to break any tie numbers rolled. A normal 6-sided dice is to be used.

Playing: You must roll a 1 or 6 to move a peg out of the starting area. The Starting Position is the space outside of the Home Area that matches peg color. Once 1 or 6 is rolled a peg is placed in the Starting Position. Roll a 6 and you are allowed to roll again. No limit on these extra turns as long as the player continues to roll a 6. You may never pass or land on your own peg. If you roll a number that will cause a peg to move ahead of your own peg, you must move the peg that is in front. I you land on a hole that another players' peg is occupying that players peg is returned to their starting area. If you can not move the number of spaces rolled on the dice, that turn is completed and play progresses to the next player.

How to WIN: When a player has all of their pegs in their color home, the game is WON! To do so, the exact # of spaces needed to move your pegs into home position must be rolled on the dice. You may continue play after a winner has been declared to decide the 1st LOSER.
